Actor Irrfan Khan now acting in Tom Hanks’ ‘Inferno’

ஸ்லம்டாக் மில்லியனர், லைப் ஆப் பை, அமேசிங் ஸ்பைடர் மேன், படங்களை தொடர்ந்து இந்தி குணச்சித்திர நடிகர் இர்ஃபான் கான் புதிய ஹாலிவுட் படத்தில் நடிக்கிறார்.

புகழ்பெற்ற டான் பிரவுன் நாவல்களை மூலமாக கொண்டு எடுக்கப்பட்ட ‘டா வின்சி கோட்’ (The Da Vinci Code / 2006), ‘ஏஞ்சல்ஸ் அண்ட் டெமான்ஸ்’ (Angels & Demons / 2009) யை படங்களின் வரிசையில் தொடர்ந்து டாம் ஹேங்ஸ் நடிக்கும் திரைப்படம் ‘இன்ஃபெர்னோ’ (Inferno) இந்தப்படத்தில் இர்ஃபான் கான் நடிக்க ஒப்பந்தமாகியிருக்கிறார். சோனி நிறுவனம் தயாரிக்கும் இன்ஃபெர்னோ அக்டோபர் 14, 2016ல் வெளியாகும் என தெரிவிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.

Hanks as Dr. Sienna Brooks. Irrfan Khan (Slumdog Millionaire, Life of Pi) will play Harry Sims, also known as The Provost. Sy (X-Men: Days of Future Past) will portray Christoph Bruder. And Knudsen, star of the Danish television series Borgen, will play Dr. Elizabeth Sinskey, head of the World Health Organization.

Inferno director/producer Ron Howard and producer Brian Grazer, behind 2009’s The Da Vinci Code, are still in talks with other internationally known actors for major roles.

Principal photography on Inferno will begin at the end of April, and the film is set for an Oct. 14, 2016, release.
